Whilst the gestational period for most dogs is 63 day smaller breeds are more prone to early delivery especially those that carry large litters. Bitch's can be due from day 57 and will rarely pass day 63 if yours does you should consult your vet and your calendar!
Here she is today very much ready for her mums to be out. She is showing some signs of early labour, she is going off by herself hiding under tables and in corners, she is nesting in her whelping box and is tired and making little squeeky groaning sounds like shes fed up, could be tonight maybe tomorrow.
