Today penny has been busy feeding her little puppy's, i have been with her bottle feeding with whelpi to help her keep up with demand.
They have all gained weight, so i am very pleased with their progress.
Penny has developed her milk today which is great for pups but penny is a little uncomfortable, and very hungry, she is being fed pedigree puppy meat up to 2 tins per day and pedigree puppy biscuits available through the night. The puppy food has a higher calorie and nutrient level to help her feed her puppy's and put on the bit of weight she lost during her pregnancy.
The first puppy that was born was Preston he was born with his nose already blackening, i think this maybe due to howlong he was in the birth canal, or some other birth related reason, which i plan to ask the vet about.
